This course is designed to enhance investigations, inspections, and Border Patrol by identifying individuals involved in fraudulent documents. Officers will learn to recognize the manipulations and phony reproductions of passports, social security cards, permanent resident cards, alien cards, visas, and other documents.

Course Instructor |

The instructor for the Document Identification and Deception course is Clayton Searle. Mr. Searle has a Bachelor of Science degree in Criminology from California State University at Long Beach. He is a retired Los Angeles detective, who spent most of his twenty-five years at the Los Angeles Police Department working narcotics. Mr. Searle worked as a narcotics detective at Los Angeles International Airport for fifteen years.
Mr. Searle is currently president of the International Narcotics Interdiction Association (INIA/Skynarc), as well as INIA’s director of training. He is the cofounder of Skynarc, the international organization for law enforcement officers working drug interdiction. He formed the first LAPD Bus and Train Squad, and formulated the first package squad in the United States. He also implemented the certification process and the current course content for the Drug Enforcement Administration’s (DEA) Drug Interdiction Jetway training program. Mr. Searle is the DEA’s primary instructor for Jetway Airport Schools. |
