Preventing Misconduct
Misconduct is responsible for ending more law enforcement careers than acts of violence. Generally, misconduct begins with insignificant acts, which, if left unchecked, may lead to disciplinary action, even prison. This course exposes common pitfalls encountered during a police career.
This eight-hour course focuses on ethics and integrity leadership. Upon completion of this training, the student will understand and have a working knowledge of leadership issues that relate to unethical acts, preventing negative politics within an organization, and understand the relationship of organizational culture to unethical acts.
