Clayton Searle spent 20 of his 25 years with the Los Angeles Police Department in various assignments relating to narcotics enforcement. He was based at the Los Angeles International Airport for more than 15 years, where he was involved in criminal interdiction efforts aimed at identifying drug couriers from their behavior and travel arrangement profiles. Mr. Searle formed the first bus, train, and package squads at LAPD.

Mr. Searle is the president of the International Narcotics Interdiction Association (INIA/Skynarc), the international organization for law enforcement officers working drug interdiction. He implemented the certification process and the current course content for the Drug Enforcement Agency's Drug Interdiction "Jetway" training program.
