Mike Boulch has been a Texas certified peace officer since 1974. In 1975, he taught interrogation and interview seminars for law enforcement and private sectors.
He was the founder of the Texas Association for Investigative and Analytical Hypnotists, which was the first Investigative Hypnosis Association in the southwestern United States. In 1979, he began teaching composite drawing and forensic illustration courses. Mr. Boulch developed innovative hypnotic techniques for overcoming substance abuse in 1981. He is an expert facilitator in critical incidents, hostage negotiations, questioned documents, and forgeries. He is the author of the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement Officer Standards and Education Learning Objects for Investigative and Forensic Hypnosis, as well as authoring sections of the Texas State Hypnosis Certification test for law enforcement officers. Mr. Boulch is a certified expert witness in the court of law on hypnosis, and is the founder and director of the Investigative and Forensic Hypnosis Institute. For fourteen years he has been with the International Society for Professional Hypnosis. He is a nationally renowned speaker to various groups, organizations, and universities and has appeared on various radio and television talk shows. His teachings include sex-crimes profiling for the law enforcement television network, truth and verification, forgery, and hostage profiling through handwriting analysis. |
