Reneé Bourque is the principal of Bright Star Grant Consultants, Inc. Bright Star consults and funds an organizational development for non-profits, governments, and businesses. Ms. Bourque holds a B.A. in English and M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction. She is the Executive Director of Sims Foundation as well as a published author of proposals and reports.

Bourque is a Board and Finance Committee Member of the Puget Sound Grant Writer's Association. She is also the instructor of grant writing and related topics for Spokane Community College and North Idaho College.
