Kimberly Clark is a thirteen-year veteran of
the Tampa Police Department. Since 1990, she has been
a state certified high-liability instructor and an
avid member of ASLET. During her career she has taught
numerous police-related topics, including report writing,
high stress radio procedures, use-of-force documentation,
map reading, orientation, and defensive tactics.
Ms. Clark's field experience in uniform patrol, undercover
operations, as a latent detective, and a field-training
officer has provided her with ample opportunity to
refine the art of writing the police report. Her police
work has resulted in many high-profile arrests, which
led to numerous awards for her performance over the
years.
Recently retired, Ms. Clark continues to teach at
the Tampa Police Academy and on-line classes for the
Smith and Wesson Police Academy. Additionally, she
writes articles, completes legal research for on-line
companies, and has recently published her first book, How to Really, Really Write Those Boring Police
Reports! A follow up book will soon be published
as well.
