Surviving Search Warrants (8-hour course) Instructed by Chic Daniel

This course will teach you the "nuts and bolts" of surviving the execution of search warrants.

There is much more to serving a search warrant than just "kicking" the door. The preparations, tactics, and execution of warrants are all necessary elements to enhance all officers' safety.

Chic Daniel retired as a detective from the Los Angeles Police Department in 1998 after 25 years of service. Chic spent 12 of those years assigned to the Special Weapons And Tactics (SWAT) Unit. Chic was one of the original members of the Crisis Negotiation Team. The CNT Unit developed and implemented the strategies and policies necessary to deal with hostage situations, barricaded suspects and the growing number of suicide-related calls. During his tenure, he was involved with the creation of tactics used in the service of high-risk search warrants.

Chic spent 9 years assigned to the Los Angeles International Airport Narcotics Task Force as a narcotic canine handler and was involved with the training of narcotic canines.Chic Daniel has instructed various police departments and military units across the country. His areas of expertise are Crisis Negotiations, SWAT Tactics, Search Warrant Preparation and Service, Airport Interdiction, and Courtroom Testimony relating to Narcotic Detection Canines.
