Dr. Thomas M. Stein, MD, EMT-T
Dr. Stein is an emergency medicine physician at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Penn. He serves as assistant professor of emergency medicine at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He is a co-founder of Inspired Education, a company formed to help save police officers' lives. Dr. Stein's medical training was completed at Penn State University Hershey Medical Center, and he then trained as an emergency medicine expert at Darnall Army Community Hospital at Fort Hood, Texas. He spent twenty-five years in the U.S. Army, five of which was in special operations as an emergency medical physician. Dr. Stein is also an EMS physician and medical director for LifeFlight helicopter system in Pittsburgh, as well as pre-hospital services.
Dr. Nick E. Colovos, MD, EMT-T
Dr. Colovos is an emergency medicine physician at Allegheny General Hospital in Pittsburgh, Penn. He serves as an assistant clinical professor at Drexel University in Philadelphia. Dr. Colovos is a co-founder of Inspired Education, a company formed to help save police officers' lives. He has worked with a number of different agencies throughout his career. Currently, Dr. Colovos is serving as lieutenant commander in the Medical Corps, U.S. Naval Reserve. He also serves as medical command physician for the Pittsburgh branch of the Federal Bureau of Investigation.
