We have entered into a joint agreement with North Idaho College (NIC). Accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, NIC has established a process for offering nationally transferable credits for our courses through their Workforce Training and Community Education program.

In order for students to receive the credit, they must complete each course within the section and follow the procedure at the bottom of this page.

The following courses meet NIC credit requirements for law enforcement courses LAWE 230, LAWE 231, LAWE 204.

The Backup - Community Policing, Cultural Diversity, Effective Courtroom Testimony, Preventing Misconduct	Law Enforcement Professionalism LAWE 230	2 credits
The Backup - Civil Liabilities, High Impact Police Leadership, Tactics: Preventing & Responding to School Violence, Pursuit Decision Making, Report Writing	Career Enhancement LAWE 232	3 credits
The Backup - Crash Investigations, DUI, Elderly Abuse and EDP, Gang Training, Use of Force	Basic Law Enforcement Issues LAWE 204	2 credits
	Total Credit Hours	7 credits

The following steps are required to earn college credit:

1. Obtain transcript for completed courses through us by either:

2. Print and complete the short application on this web site.
   (Must be within two years of completing the required courses.)
   
   
3. Submit your application and transcript(s) with a one-time fee of $25.00. Make your check payable to Workforce Training Center:

4. Send $10.00 for each semester credit.

Final credit transcripts must be obtained from North Idaho College.
