College Credit
We have entered into a joint agreement with North Idaho College (NIC). Accredited by the Northwest Association of Schools and Colleges, NIC has established a process for offering nationally transferable credits for our courses through their Workforce Training and Community Education program.

The following courses meet NIC credit requirements for law enforcement courses LAWE 230 through LAWE 234 and LAWE 236 through LAWE 237.

The following steps are required to earn college credit:
  1. Obtain transcript for completed courses through The Backup Training Corporation by calling 800-822-9398 (Pacific Standard Time, Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.) or e-mailing SupportServices@TheBackup.com

  2. Print and complete the short application on this web site. (Must be within two years of completing the required courses.)

  3. Submit application and transcript(s) with a $25.00 one-time application fee. Make check payable to Workforce Training Center and mail to:

  4. Send $10.00 for each semester credit
Final credit transcripts must be obtained directly from North Idaho College
